Maintaining a blog is great for so many reasons, among them reflecting back on the year to see not only how many times you had Cab Sauv after work or made black bean brownies, but how you felt about getting older, how you remembered a vacation and what memories you chose to put into words.

A colorful Christmas adventure
After seeing the Second City “Holidays in the Heights” Christmas comedy show Tuesday night, B and I ventured over to a park a few blocks away to check out the beautiful light display.

I've been dreading this day since Aug. 31.
Today my local Dunkin Donuts told me they no longer serve pumpkin coffee for the season.
“What did you just say?” I sassed the tiny voice bearing bad news.
“How ‘bout a gingerbread coffee instead?” they asked, hoping this solution woud settle my rage.
“…I’ll take it.”
