Last Friday Boyfriend and I hit up a free Oktoberfest beer tasting* in town where we sampled more than 25 different types of fall beers.

As a fan of pumpkin-flavored everything, I loved the pumpkin ales. My favorite tasting was O’Fallon Pumpkin Ale that tastes — I kid you not — exactly like pumpkin pie. It was nothing short of fate when I bought the last six pack.

Brad got a six-pack of something more manly, and with no other Friday night plans we headed back to his house for a challenging (for him) game of Mario Brothers on old-school Nintendo.

We decided to make a wager on the game: If I won, he had to buy me lunch and dinner the next day, and if he won, I had to go to the dentist (Ah! No! Biggest fear!).

Things got pretty intense and I may or may not have spilled beer three times on his carpet. It is with much haste that I must admit — he won. But there are still no dentist appointments on my calendar as of now. :)
