Adventures in cooking eating: Lobster Lover’s Dream (rock lobster tail, split Maine lobster tail and shrimp and lobster linguini Alfredo)

On Saturday night I went on a date with my boyfriend and his boyfriend. We saw a commercial last week advertising Red Lobster’s annual “Lobsterfest” and holy seafood, it drew us in.

Manfriend and I planned our date days in advance, but when describing our plans to his man friend, Watson, he responded with sly things like ”I loooove lobster” and “I’m not doing anything tonight…” — and so it became a trio.

We usually don’t opt for chain restaurants, especially seafood ones, but the advertising was too good. And it didn’t disappoint. The BISCUITS, oh the biscuits. Manfriend, Watson and I were full before our entrees arrived and we all brought home nearly half our plates.

Although the lobster was delicious, it made me crave a trip to the east coast to have fresh seafood along the ocean.
